Senior Manager, Key Accounts

 

PROMOTECH, an inVentiv Health company, a leading provider of non-personal sales and marketing support solutions to the healthcare industry is looking for a high initiative results-driven Senior Manager to oversee its Key Accounts team.  We are looking for someone with 3-5 years of sales/marketing experience, preferably in a health care related field (pharma, bio-tech, etc.).   This individual must possess a Bachelors degree (Advanced degree preferred) with a minimum of 2 years hands-on management experience including proven results of managing and developing a team.  A proven ability to interface with clients, drive projects and meet aggressive deadlines is a must.  This position will include 60%+ travel.

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the key account department.
 
Key Job Responsibilities:
(Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following)
¨       Manages and oversees the key account management department budget.
¨       Reviews and approves the reporting of monthly revenue numbers and forecasts.
¨       Oversees the hiring, management, and development of Key Account Management Staff
¨       Represents Key Account Management in corporate, client and industry meetings as needed
¨       Estimates and negotiates contracts with new and existing clients where necessary
¨       Oversees vendor contracting as it pertains to Key Account Management
¨       Thinks proactively and makes recommendations and decisions independently on project parameters

Required:  Minimum 7-10 years management experience, project management experience. Proficiency         in Microsoft Office applications. Accurate typing and data entry skills. Must have good customer service etiquette (telephone and face-to-face) and overall professional appearance. Able to communicate clearly and effectively (both written and verbal communication) with direct reports, coworkers, managers, vendors and clients. Excellent planning and organization skills to handle multiple priorities. Excellent problem solving skills. Some travel required.

.NET Developer

Job Summary:

Initially responsible for the day to day support of multiple existing key internal applications written in VB.NET and ASP.NET.  This position will work closely with the Client Services and Program Administration departments to provide support for these applications as well as identify and develop enhancements, new functionality, and provide bug fixes under the guidance of the original application developers. The position will also assist in the documentation of the applications.

 

Programming functions will include primarily thick client and web user interfaces, database interaction, process automation, and data feeds to and from external and internal sources to support the daily order processing and sample management operations for the company.

 

Position requires extensive knowledge of .NET programming in thick-client and web-based applications (VB/ASP) and SQL.  This position will require excellent communication skills to work with all levels of the organization and potentially external clients.

Education

Required:     Demonstrated ability and experience with object oriented design and the Software Development Life Cycle.  Minimum of 2 years in data-driven application development utilizing VB.NET/ASP.NET with SQL Server databases. 

Preferred:     SQL Server 2005, some C# .NET experience.
